Ladies & Gents,



As it's now been confirmed that Grade 3A and Grade 3B will be straight Finals at the Worlds this year and that the playing criteria will be Medley, we are proposing that we change the playing criteria for the Grade 3 at North Berwick to match this. We feel that this will give the bands the best opportunity to have a run out before the Worlds.



Could I please ask you to pass this information on to your Pipe Major so that their preparation is as effective as possible.

Keep in mind that the Perth requirements haven't officially changed yet. Officially, it's still G3 MSR and G2 medley. We'll see how that vote turns out.



So right now, we're going to play the following:

North Berwick: G3 medley

Perth: G3 MSR (change vote pending), G2 medley.

Worlds: G3B Medley

hmmmm - think i'll work on the medley some more..........and if we only do the MSR on the Friday foreign bands show, then we do.

We're a long standing Grade 3 band, we have worked hard on both sets. We can handle whatever they throw at us. Play the MSR? sure thing. Play only the Medley? Got it. Start the MSR and halfway through switch to the Medley? No problem.

I'm with Larry. We'll be prepared for either. Or hard work up to this point has put us in a position where we shouldn't freak out.
